How to choose a Webflow agency in the UK

Choosing a Webflow agency for your website in the UK? What to look for, questions to ask, typical costs, and a fair look at the options.

The best Webflow agency for a SaaS company is one that understands how B2B software is bought, not just how Webflow works. Look for a team that can handle messaging as well as design and build, has SaaS case studies with real results, and sets your marketing team up to run the site without them.

We're one of the agencies you might be considering, so we've tried to make this useful whoever you hire.

‍

What to look for

1. SaaS experience, not just Webflow experience. Plenty of agencies build beautiful Webflow sites. Fewer understand buying committees, technical products and long sales cycles. Ask to see work for companies like yours, at a similar stage.

2. Messaging and copy capability. Most SaaS websites underperform because of what they say, not how they look. An agency that only does design and build will need you to supply finished copy. If you don't have that, find one that writes it or bring in a separate copywriter.

3. Webflow partner status. Webflow's partner directory shows certified and Enterprise partners. Enterprise partners have worked on larger, more complex builds and have direct support from Webflow. It's not the only signal, but it's a useful one if you're on or heading to an Enterprise plan.

4. CMS thinking. Ask how they'd structure your content. A good agency will talk about collections, templates and how your team will add pages in a year, not just the homepage design.

5. Integrations with your revenue stack. If you use HubSpot, Salesforce or Marketo, ask how they handle forms, tracking and attribution. This is where many builds quietly go wrong.

6. What happens after launch. Training, documentation and support options. You want your team to own the site, with the agency available if you need them.

‍

Questions to ask on the first call

  1. What SaaS sites have you built at our stage, and what changed for those clients afterwards?
  2. Who will actually work on our project, and are they in-house or freelance?
  3. How do you handle messaging if our positioning isn't settled?
  4. How will our marketing team edit and add pages after launch?
  5. How do you handle a migration without losing SEO?
  6. What's included in the price, and what usually costs extra?

What a Webflow agency costs in the UK

Prices vary a lot depending on scope. As a rough guide for B2B SaaS projects:

Scope Typical UK range
Webflow build from existing designs £10k to £20k
Design and Webflow build £20k to £35k
Copy, design and Webflow build £30k to £50k
Enterprise website (several teams, integrations or a large migration) £50k to £200k+
Ongoing retainer £2k to £6k per month

‍

For transparency, our own pricing starts at £12.5k for a Webflow build, £20k for design and build, and £30k for copy, design and build. Retainers start at £2,500 a month. For larger projects with several teams, languages or integrations, see our breakdown of enterprise website redesign costs in the UK.

‍

Agency, freelancer or in-house?

Option Best when Watch out for
Specialist agency You need strategy, copy, design and build together, on a fixed timeline Higher cost, need to be clear on scope
Freelancer Smaller sites or a clear brief with finished copy and design Capacity and cover if they're unavailable
In-house You're making changes daily and can hire a Webflow developer Hard to hire for strategy, copy and design all at once

Many SaaS companies use an agency for the rebuild, then a mix of in-house and a small retainer afterwards.

Top UK Webflow agencies worth considering

A few UK agencies that build on Webflow, described from what they publish about themselves. Each suits a different kind of project.

  • ViDesigns (London) is a Webflow Enterprise Partner with strategy, copy, brand, design and development in one team, working mainly with B2B SaaS, AI and fintech companies. Clients include Thrive Learning, Everseen, BVNK, Understory, Maia.ai (part of Matillion), Apollo Research and Patronus AI. Recent work includes launching 60+ pages for Accure in six weeks, and rewriting Understory's messaging and website in 12 weeks to move it from small businesses to mid-market and enterprise buyers. Best for growth-stage companies moving upmarket that need the messaging fixed as well as the website. Less suited to small template-based sites.
  • Code & Wander is a Webflow Premium Partner working across B2B SaaS, legal, healthcare and consumer brands, with past clients including Uber and Zoopla. Strong on UX, design systems, migrations and integrations. Projects start from £25k. Copywriting isn't listed as a core service.
  • Influx Digital is a Webflow Premium Partner founded in 2016, working with a wide mix of businesses including Vantage Spaces, Booja-Booja and RevLifter. Offers branding, copywriting, Webflow and Shopify, plus SEO, PPC and CRO. A good fit if you want the site and the marketing that drives traffic to it from one team.
  • Big Rocket is a Webflow Premium Partner and certified partner since 2021, with clients including Landsec, Shell and Kellogg's. Strong on brand, ecommerce and custom functionality like booking systems and portals. Custom sites start from a few thousand pounds, so it suits a wider range of budgets.
  • Bloomr Design  is a Webflow Certified Partner working with SaaS, AI, hospitality and construction businesses. Offers branding, design and Webflow builds, typically launching in 4 to 8 weeks. A good fit for businesses that want brand and site together; copywriting isn't listed.
  • MakeBuild is a Webflow Enterprise Premium Partner focused on B2B marketing sites for SaaS, fintech, financial services, healthtech and cybersecurity, with clients including Typeform, Sky and Darktrace. Strong on large migrations, integrations and technical SEO. Won Webflow's Top New Partner award in 2023. Minimum projects start around $10k.
  • Spurwing is a Webflow-only agency and certified partner, working mostly with small and mid-sized businesses across insurance, cybersecurity, education and construction. Rated 4.9 on Clutch, with projects from around $5k. Also does development-only work for design studios, so it suits teams that already have designs.

Red flags

  • No relevant work in their portfolio. You’d be paying them to learn your sector. A team that has never built for a regulated fintech or a 40-page SaaS site will run into the hard parts (compliance copy, complex CMS, sales integrations) on your budget.
  • They jump straight to design. Design built on messaging nobody has agreed gets redone, so you pay twice. It also means they treat the site as decoration rather than something that has to persuade a buyer.
  • Vague answers on CMS, migration or integrations. This is where projects actually fail. A poor CMS structure means your team can’t add pages without help. A sloppy migration loses your Google rankings overnight. Broken CRM forms mean leads go missing without anyone noticing. If they can’t explain these clearly on a sales call, they won’t handle them well on the project.
  • No training plan. You end up dependent on them for every small change. That’s either deliberate, because it keeps you on a retainer, or a sign they haven’t thought past launch day.
  • A price far below the average. Something has been left out: copy, migration, revisions, QA, or senior people doing the work or just entirely outsourced. The gap usually comes back as change requests halfway through.

FAQs

How long does a Webflow agency take to build a SaaS website? Usually 8 to 16 weeks depending on scope, number of pages and whether copy is included.

Do I need a Webflow Enterprise partner? Only if you're on a Webflow Enterprise plan or expect to need its features, such as SSO, advanced roles or high traffic. For many growth-stage companies, a certified partner is enough.

Should the agency be based in the UK? It helps for time zones, workshops and understanding UK and European buyers, but it isn't essential. Experience with SaaS matters more than location.

Can a Webflow agency write our website copy? Some can. If messaging is a weak spot, choose an agency that includes copy and strategy rather than handling it separately.

What should be included in a Webflow agency proposal? Scope by page and template, CMS structure, integrations, migration and redirects, number of revision rounds, training and post-launch support.
